Water Walk
A great asset for cooling and cleaning horses legs after exercise or post racing.
Lunge Pen
Where all the young horses are long reined before being ridden away in here.
Horse Walker
5 horse covered walker which is used daily post exercise for cooling down or to warm up before exercise. It is also great to keep horses moving in a controlled environment post injury.
Turnout
We are fortunate to have year round turnout and we can either spilt horses up or turn them out in bigger groups.
Extensive Hacking
Provides a great change of scene for the horses with miles of hacking around the headlands and across the farms 3000 acres.
5 Furlong All Weather Hill Gallop
Our main route to getting the horses to peak fitness. It has a sand surface and rises for the first two and half furlongs before flattening out across the top, which means it is brilliant for the young horses as it provides the perfect balance to install confidence as they learn to gallop.

6 Furlong All Weather Flat Railway Gallop
A fantastic asset with many uses from warming up before going up the hill, to long steady canters to build up their core strength. It is also where all the breakers are ridden outside for the first time and it’s unique natural environment provides the perfect setting.
All Weather Schooling Strip
Our most recent addition to the facilities here. It has 3 Easy Fix fences on a carpet surface providing year round schooling facilities which means whatever the weather there isn’t a day you aren’t able to jump.
Jumping Lane
A rather special facility owing to the unique and completely natural setting which was a siding for the railway line in its day. Now ‘railed’ by a privet hedge, it comprises varying sizes of logs and barrels, Easy Fix hurdles, lorry tyres and an Easy Fix fence- 15 obstacles in total. All the breakers learn to jump here and it’s provides something fun for the older horses. It teaches them brilliant technique and encourages them to look forward to the next obstacle.
Schooling Field
Allows us to a school on grass when the weather allows. With four sets of tyres on the grass, it is the perfect progression from the jumping lane. We are fortunate enough to have two sets of Easy Fix and two birch fences on the grass which gives the horses the chance to experience something closer to a racing environment.
